This makes it easier to identify and understand where your payments are going. The workspace name is shown in the top-left corner of the dashboard. - Permission to manage Outflows. If you cannot see Categories under Outflows in the sidebar, ask your workspace admin to update your role. - A list of category names if you plan to import categories in bulk. Agree on naming with your finance team first so everyone uses the same labels. How to Find Categories in Niobi 1. Log in to Niobi. 2. In the left sidebar, click Outflows to expand the menu. 3. Click Categories. How to Create a Category in Niobi Use this option when you only need to add one or two categories. 1. On the Categories page, click Create New. 2. In the Create New Category window, enter a name in the Name field. This field is required. 3. Click Create. Your new category appears in the list straightaway. If you change your mind, click Cancel to close the window without saving. How to Import Categories in Bulk If you are setting up Niobi for the first time or moving from another tool, you can import multiple categories at once instead of creating them one by one. Step 1: Download and Fill in the Template 1. On the Categories page, click Import Categories. 2. Under Step 1, click Download to get the template file. 3. Open the file and enter one category name per row. 4. Save the file. Keep the column headings exactly as they are in the template. Step 2: Upload the Category File 1. In the Import categories window, under Step 2, click Upload. 2. Select the file you saved. Niobi reads the file and shows a confirmation message telling you how many entries were uploaded, for example, "3 entries have been uploaded successfully." Step 3: Review and Submit Imported Categories After uploading the file, you are taken to the Confirm Imported Categories screen. Review the categories before they are saved. - Fix typos: Each name appears in an editable field, so you can correct it directly. - Select categories: Use the checkboxes to choose which rows to include, or tick the box in the header to select them all. - Add more: Click Upload More to add ro
