If you send payments in batches, such as payroll or multiple vendor payouts at once, Niobi’s Bulk Payments page gives you a single view of every batch you’ve uploaded, along with the performance of each payment within the batch.
This guide covers how to view, filter, and track bulk batch payments in Niobi. It does not cover uploading a new batch, since that flow isn’t included here.

- Open the Bulk Payments page and view summary totals
- Search and filter your list of payment batches
- Open a batch to view individual payments
- Understand payment statuses within a batch

Before You Start
You’ll need:
- A Niobi account with access to Outflows
- At least one bulk payment batch already uploaded to your workspace
How to View and Track Bulk Payments in Niobi
Step 1: Open Bulk Payments
1. Log in to your Niobi account.
2. In the left sidebar, expand the Outflows section.
3. Click Bulk Payments.
You’ll land on a page showing three summary cards at the top:
- Total Batches — the number of batches you’ve uploaded
- Total Transactions — the combined number of individual payments across all batches
- Total Amount — the combined value of all batches, shown in your selected currency
You can change the displayed currency using the Select currency dropdown in the top-right corner.
Step 2: Search or Filter Your Payment Batches
Below the summary cards, you can use:
- Search by Batch ID or Reference... — to quickly find a specific batch
- All Status — to filter batches by their status
The batch table shows:
- Batch ID
- Created date
- Number of Transactions
- Success count
- Pending count
- Failed count
- Total Amount
- Overall Status (e.g., Completed)
- Uploaded By
Step 3: Open a Batch to View Its Details
1. Click a Batch ID from the list.
2. You’ll land on the batch detail page, with a Go Back link at the top to return to the full list.
The batch detail page includes three summary cards showing the payment outcomes:
- Successful Payments — total value and number of payments that went through
- Pending Payments — total value and number of payments still processing
- Failed Payments — total value and number of payments that didn’t go through
Step 4: Review Individual Payments in a Bulk Batch
The table below the summary cards lists every payment in the batch, including:
- Date — the date the payment was made
- Payment Reference — a unique reference code
- Type — e.g., Pay Out
- Payment Method — e.g., M-Pesa Send Money, Pesalink
- Category — e.g., Rent, Internet
- Payee — the payee’s name
- Verified Beneficiary — shown when the recipient has been verified
- Transaction — the payment amount
- Status — e.g., Paid
- Share — an icon to share the payment record
At the bottom of the table, you’ll see a running count of Success, Pending, and Failed payments in the batch, along with pagination if the batch has more entries than fit on one page.
