Introduction
IP Whitelisting in Niobi lets you control which IP addresses are allowed to access your workspace. By allowing only trusted IP addresses, such as your office network or approved systems, you can add an extra layer of security to your Niobi workspace.

Before You Start
Before adding an IP address to your Niobi whitelist, make sure you have:
- An active Niobi account with access to Workspace settings
- Permission to manage IP Whitelisting in your workspace
- The IPv4 address you want to whitelist, such as your office network's public IP address
Important: Make sure you have the correct IP address before whitelisting it. Adding the wrong IP address may prevent you or other users from accessing the workspace.
How to Whitelist an IP Address in Niobi
Step 1: Open IP Whitelisting
1. Log in to your Niobi account.
2. In the left sidebar, expand Workspace.
3. Click IP Whitelisting.
You'll be taken to the IP Whitelisting page, where you can view the IP addresses currently added to your workspace.
The table includes information such as:
- IP Address
- Status — Active or Inactive
- Created
- Updated
- Created By
Step 2: Add a New IP Address
1. On the IP Whitelisting page, click Add IP Address in the top-right corner.
2. In the Whitelist IP Address window, enter the IP address you want to allow in the IP Address (IPv4) field.
3. Enter the address in a valid IPv4 format, for example, .
4. Click Whitelist IP to confirm.
If you don't want to save the address, click Cancel instead.
Once successfully added, the IP address will appear in your whitelist with an Active status.
Step 3: Review Your Whitelisted IP Addresses
You can use the IP Whitelisting table to monitor and manage the addresses associated with your workspace.
Search for an IP Address
Use the Search bar to enter an IP address and quickly locate it in your list.
Filter by Status
Use the All Statuses filter to view:
- Active IP addresses
- Inactive IP addresses
Check IP Status
The Status column shows whether an IP address is currently:
- Active — The IP address is allowed to access the workspace.
- Inactive — The IP address is no longer allowed to access the workspace.
The table also displays the number of entries currently shown.
Step 4: Deactivate an IP Address
If an IP address should no longer have access to your workspace, you can deactivate it.
1. Find the IP address in the table.
2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of its row.
3. Select Deactivate.
The IP address will be marked as Inactive and will no longer be allowed to access your workspace.
