We are proud to announce that Niobi has been selected for Cohort 5 of the Visa Africa Fintech Accelerator, a pan-African program supporting a small group of fast-growing fintech companies building the next chapter of payments across the continent. Being selected is a big deal for us. It is recognition that the problem we are working on: making it easier for businesses to move money across African borders, is one worth solving at scale. The problem we are built to solve Running a business across Africa is hard. A company in Kenya trying to pay a supplier in Ghana, or a business in Nigeria settling up with a partner in the UK, has to deal with slow transfers, high fees, and a system that was never really designed for the way African trade works today. Niobi exists to change that. We help businesses send and receive money across 16 markets in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. We handle the complexity underneath — the different payment systems, currencies, and regulations — so our customers can focus on running their business. Why the Visa Africa Fintech Accelerator matters to us Visa has spent decades building the systems that make global payments work. Joining their accelerator gives us a structured opportunity to learn from that experience and apply it to what we are building for African markets. Over the course of the program, we will be working closely with Visa's network and our cohort peers to sharpen how we think about scale, trust, and the kind of infrastructure that businesses on this continent actually need. That is exactly the work we are here to do. What we are working towards Cross-border payments in Africa are not broken because no one has tried to fix them. They are broken because the system was built for a different time, and a different kind of trade. Today, that is changing fast. African businesses are growing, trading more, and crossing more borders than ever before. The infrastructure needs to keep up. Africa's businesses are growing fast. They are trading across more borders, working with more partners, and moving more money than ever before. The infrastructure that supports all of that needs to grow with them. That is what we are focused on building at Niobi, and the Visa Africa Fintech Accelerator is part of that journey. Joining the Visa Africa Fintech Accelerator is one more step in building that future. We are grateful for the opportunity and excited about what comes next.
